On Man - Guest Playlist

We covered ‘United (Why Can’t We Say Enough)’ the striking new release by On Man last week.

Following that we were delighted to receive this guest playlist by the man himself, sprawling across 30 tracks demonstrating his eclectic taste.

In his own words

“Hi, Electric Sound of Joy. Thanks so much for asking me to do a playlist for you - it was so much fun putting it together. I've included a bunch of tracks from artists I've listened to over the years, when I was writing the album, and also some artists I've been really excited about recently. It's a really diverse selection but it's been such a great process, finding links and similarities between artists separated by genre and time. It includes some of my favourites, from The Beach Boys to Dizzee Rascal, to Shabazz Palaces to The Flaming Lips, and loads more... I hope you enjoy it.

His self titled debut LP will be release via Houndstooth on 15th July.
