Alexei Shishkin
Clearly the product of a singular mind, Alexei Shishkin’s latest is inspired by the poet Carl Dennis and comes across as a meandering amble through some form of loose consciousness. Some of the instrumentation is more redolent of latter day Walkmen at their most lugubrious but beyond that this a peculiar and quite unique vision.
